The top has been covered with Gold Simply Flakes after the side of the cake was stencilled with pale pink buttercream. Assorted coloured silk roses have been used to finish the cake. Accessorized with Gold Simply Flakes, Almond Tuiles, raspberries, and a white chocolate filigree embedded with Gold Simply Flakes. Top Right: White chocolate filigree with Gold Simply Flakes. Middle Right: Chocolate parfait with freeze-thaw stable Gold Simply Flakes. Bottom Right: Piping bag lined with Gold Flakes for decorating parfait. (this will be on the outside of the iced chocolate parfait when plated)

The outside has been decorated with brown vanilla cake and Gold Simply Fakes before baking to create the gold flower pattern inside the vanilla cake Top Right: Glad Bake pressed with flower cutter into brown vanilla cake mix to create pattern. Middle Right: Piping over pattern so Gold Simply Flakes stick, then freeze to set. Bottom Right: Pressing Gold Simply Flakes into pattern, over-piping, covering with vanilla cake, and baking.
